It is so important for the youth to get involved. I started getting involve when I was just eleven years old and haven't stopped since. I'm now 18 years old and helping animals has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Kids are the next generation, we are the future. We have the power to change the way people treat animals. If we all start getting involved at a young age, we will grow up treating animals the way they should be treated... with respect. If we know the issues at a young age, we can prevent them from happening in our lives and our children's lives. If we all learn that pets are suppose to be part of the family, understand the importance of spaying and neutering, know the difference between reputable breeders and backyard breeders and recognize that millions of animals need homes. Then, our generation will be the generation to stop the cruelty towards animals and our children's generation will keep it that way...
