Faith came into the Mendocino shelter with sunken eyes, swollen paws and every bone in her body showing. She had been tossed into country to fend for herself. With overcrowded shelters unable to keep healthy pets, Faith most likely would have been put down. However, she landed in the right shelter at the right time and had a personality that made everyone want to help this amazing little girl. She was named Faith because even in such poor condition, we all had faith that she would make it. She had a spirit like no other. With antibiotics, good food (and lots of it!) and loving volunteers, Faith gained weight and any old injuries were soon healed. Faith made it and looked better than we ever could have imagined. Faith was so gentle and so sweet even after all she had been through. She could make you smile the minute you took her out and make you feel like the impossible was possible. She is a true example of how awful people can be towards pets AND how wonderfully caring people can be towards pets. Faith was adopted into a loving home where she continued to thrive...

Noel... coming soon!
