Welcome!

In 2005, I adopted a blind and deaf, 1 year old, Staffordshire/Heeler mix that I named Youwho. He was found as a stray and brought to the local shelter where I volunteer at. I just fell in love with his sweet and outgoing personality. So, I decided to foster him, but that did not last long and I adopted him!

Since I did not know a lot about training a blind and deaf dog, I went online and began searching for information. However, most of the sites I found were about deaf dogs or blind dogs, but not one for dogs with both. Within the first couple of months of having him, I came up with my own routine and training techniques. So, I thought I'd share what I've learned with others. As well as show that a blind and deaf dog can live a happy and healthy life!
